The little Clara-dress is done. The first pink, knitted thing for my nephews little daughter! It's made in milk-yarn, and it's sooooo soft and really, REALLY pink! (The strange thing is, that the color is different in all the photos!)
I think it was a slow knit. But actually, it only took about 2 weeks, so I guess I'll just stop thinking that.
The leaf-pattern in the yoke is so pretty! I used 115 grams of yarn for a size 1 year dress. (They grow like crazy, babies, so I didn't want it to be too small!)
Vidste du forresten, at mønsteret kan findes gratis lige her?
The pattern is well known for the neck-opening to be very tight, so to be safe, I made a very elastic cast-off, instead of casting off in moss stitch like the pattern said.
Did you know, by the way, that the pattern can be found for free here? (With a slightly modified translation here.)
On Tuesday, my tiny friend, formerly known as Svend Matthæus (I still don't understand why they didn't choose that name!) and he acted as a model.
The neck-opening was fine and large enough, but I guess it was his first time in a dress. He looked a bit surprised!
